Magnesia Carbon Brick is made from alkaline oxide of high melting point ,magnesium oxide (melting point 2800 ℃)
and high melting point carbon materials which are hard to be infiltrated by furnace clinker as well as all kinds of oxide additives.
It is composite refractory material combined with binder resin and pressed by high tonnage pressure.
Magnesia Carbon Brick is mainly used for steel series, converter, lining of ac arc furnace and dc electrical arc furnace , slag line of steel ladle, ladle lining etc.
As a composite refractory material , Magnesia Carbon Brick use of the excellent slag erosion resistance ability of magnesia and the high thermal conductivity
and low expansibility of carbon efficiently.It compensated the biggest disadvantage of poor spalling resistance of magnesia.
